Corporate

Shamara’s journey into the corporate world began after graduating university. She focused on business to business (B2B) relationships and became the Key Account Manager of a million dollar territory for an Emeryville based Wholesale Distribution company where she handled prospecting new business, contract negotiations, drafting various agreements and overseeing the small to mid-sized business development of over 250+ accounts within her book of business.

Consulting

Working closely with start-ups and real estate professionals she develops strategies, manages projects and implements Customer Success training programs. Her ability to stay current with best practices on what’s trending has garnered her clients much success.

In 2022, Shamara began consulting in the Tech space partnering startups, Fortune 500 companies and leading brands looking to outsource their software development needs with seasoned engineers in 36 countries. Working with clients like Google, Rolls-Royce, Johnson & Johnson, Pinterest and many others. Her experience in corporate business development helps her appreciate every aspect associated with a companies interest in growth and profitability.

Real Estate

Shamara became a Licensed California Real Estate Salesperson in 2017 specializing in self-employed millennials, single women first time buyers & championing short-term leases. Her tenacity in understanding her client’s needs, negotiating on their behalf and natural influence are second to none – She doesn’t take “no” for an answer. In 2023 after 4.5 years of being designated as a certified professional and member of RESA® she softly added home staging to her portfolio.

Personal Life (The SoftLife)

Shamara is a native of Oakland, Ca. She is an adored wife and mother (the proud mother a CSU Northridge recent graduate – Go Matadors!), 3 bonus sons and the mother of her adorable fur baby named King. During her free time when she is not learning something new, Shamara loves to spend time with her family – entertaining, can easily be considered a socialite, enjoys home decor’ DIY projects, luxury item collecting, traveling with friends and mentoring up and coming women entrepreneurs. With Shamara, there is no telling what she will do next! She advocates hard for what she wants.
